Swade was bumble bee from the transformers. He wore this costume for weeks before hallloween. Unfortunately I thought a 6 would be big enough for my 5 year old so he wont be wearing it fot long. Once I washed it it shrunk a bit and so now he has a permanent wedgie.

My latest paintings

This one is called True Racer, it is a painting of our neighbor Zach Ahleen. He is Vance's hero! He just turned pro and is an amazing Rider. He has given Vance several lessons and it has been a real dream come true for Vance. Riding is his passion.

I painted this one for West, he is so into the outlaw history and Butch and Sundance so I thought these were the best looking outlaws I could find. My next otlaw might be Doc Holiday and so I can paint Val Kilmer.


This last painting is actually a pastel portrait of my Niece Jennica June. I was inspired by the photograph on my sister in law Ember's blog. She really has a way with taking pictures. I will paint more of her pictures in the future. Thanks Em, it was fun!

Why have kids? Being a grandma is much more fun!!! Did I just say grandma? I think I'm still in denial, Maybe I'll feel like a grandma when he starts calling me that.

Being a Grandpa has made West's hair go back dark. WOW What a Hottie!! Yep he's the first grandpa I've ever thought was HOT!!!

I'm thinking he's not really liking the grass. What a good boy letting his momma take his picture though. His eyes light up when you get the camera out. He knows what it's all about and only 4 months old.

It's crazy how fast babies grow up. It seems like just yesterday our grand baby Kagun was born. He's such a cute baby.

Today is Swade's Birthday! He turned 5

We went to lunch at 25 main with Aunt Staci and Oakley and spent the afternoon at the water park on Main Street.

Later we had a party at Pirate Island Pizza with a Pirate themed party. Looks like Swade likes his new cowboy boots!

Iron Rangers

West and Dylan, our nephue getting readyy to ride in the Iron Rangers rodeo. Dylan loves to ride and won 2nd place in the sheep ride. He was the most excited kid I've ever seen when he picked up his first check of $8.00

This is an interesting way to ride. Hopefully his mother doesn't see this. He is tied to West so he's perfectly safe. Really!

Now it's Swade's turn, he's doing the barrels on Dodge. West is leading him on Norman this year. He is still only 4 so we're keeping it safe.
