The Perfect Day

I have visited many Artists Studios before and I have never had an experience like this.
This is Sculptor Gary Lee Price and he is creating a life size version of The Wright Brothers. What an amazing feeling as I walked in to this space... Gary's space. It was an immediate feeling of home. So peaceful and so many wonderful things to look at. Every one of my senses were alive and my heart so full I had no words. My eyes were wet with emotion as I took a tour of his studio.

It was an honor to spend the evening just listening as 4 amazing men came together and shared stories, thoughts and dreams. When we asked if it was ok to touch the clay sculpture Gary was eager to allow it. Every inch of these pieces came alive, I could actually feel the presence of these two amazing men "Orville and Wilbur" Two amazing men who changed history! It was as if they were there to watch over Gary as his Guardian Angels as he creates such an amazing piece of art for the world to appreciate and to continue to learn from. I have no doubt these men continue to inspire from the grave!
What a wonderful feeling it is to have such an inspirational artist and mentor appreciate one of my creations. As Gary examined a custom created Native American Hand Drum I had commissioned with the Tree of life painted on front I was honored to have him shared his thoughts and feelings.
Once again my emotions came to the surface as I was inspired to give a custom Butterfly Rattle to Gary. He then disappeared and returned with a gift for me. My very own Statue of Responsibility!
It was a "GOOD TRADE" as the Natives used to say.

just a quick selfie to prove to myself that this was not a dream, this is my reality and Like attracts Like. These are my people, my Tribe so to speak is gathering and I love the Shift my life is taking!
I look forward to the day I return to Gary's studio and see what or who he is working on next.

This was the Perfect Day!

These are a few of the Native American Indian Drums she paints beautiful art pieces on. Drums are used by people to connect to the Earth and to one another. As a universal, vibrational language, the drumbeat communes with the Earth and all her creatures. As you play the drum you can literally feel the vibration and the energy as you create your own special healing vibration. Each drum is an original piece of art hand made by Steve Christensen and hand painted by Kami Taylor. The Drum in all its Beauty is truly the healing medicine deserved by all, now more than ever. I know the beauty of my artwork on this drum combined with it's energy and vibration will assist in healing all who play it. ~Kami Taylor~

West and His Moab Mustang Norman
West is still following his dream and training horses. He is currently a T.I.P. trainer for the Mustang Heritage Foundation and has adopted many wild mustangs from the BLM as a rescue effort to assist the magnificent creature from being wild and free as they are then moved into holding facilities (prisons, where the inmates take care of them) to our Ranch where he trains them to be amazing animals to be trusting of  man. They are taught to allow a person to ride and be loved by all who come in contact with them. We currently have 7 wild horses here at the ranch. Take a look at the Face book link below to see what West has to share what he is doing with the Wild Horses with The World. https://www.facebook.com/extremeoutlawrides?ref=hl
This is West with Dead Easy, a mustang from the Winemucca NV. Herd as they prepare for a journey to the Supreme Extreme Mustang Challenge in Ft Worth TX. Sept 2012. It was an amazing time for our family and so much to be learned and gained from the trials, struggles, failures, successes, joy and excitement along the way, these horses have so much to learn and as they take it on we all learned so much from them in return. He is currently training Siringo for a competition in SLC during the Wild Horse and Burro Festival

Spent the day enjoying Nature...

This is the small town of Fruita inside The Capitol Reef National Park. It has more than 2,500 fruit trees, some of which were originally planted by Mormon pioneers. I cant wait to stroll through the orchards and eat fruit fresh off the trees in a few months.

I Love finding Hearts in Nature! Swade has started doing it too. He always brings me heart shaped rocks. We have a nice little collection at home. When our dog Poochie died last summer, he covered the grave with heart shaped rocks. He is a sweet, tender hearted little boy.

Of course Swade found the water and was up to his ankles in mud, buried in leaves and completely covered in FUN within the first 5 minutes of exiting the vehicle. He wore himself out and slept all the way home :)

Well hello wise old tree, do you have a message for me today? We found many faces today in clouds and trees and on rocks. Great day exploring and hangen out with the boys.

I'm Back!

Yes I am Blogging again! I have taken over a year off and it is time to share with friends and family what were up to. So much has happened... Where to start?I have been very busy with my art. I hooked up with a Native American Drum maker, Steve Christensen when I bought me and West a drum. I decided to paint on mine and the rest is history. In the past year I have painted over 30 drums and done many paintings all through my new Kami Taylor art Face book site West created for me and word of mouth. It has been amazing the Gift of expression I have been given through painting. I am grateful every day for that Gift!

West's Grandpa Vance passed away in march so we decided to move to Fremont and live in his little farm house. It has been so much fun to live near my oldest daughter Kayla and her little family.
